Jelson Homes’ site manager Sam Fairgrieve (29) has been named a regional winner in the prestigious Pride in the Job awards, which are organised by National House-Building Council (NHBC), marking him out as one of the best in his profession.
He won in the NHBC medium-builder category, east region, for the outstanding quality of his work managing the construction of Jelson’s Peacock Place development in Leicester; he has also received a coveted Seal of Excellence.
“We’re all really proud of Sam and what he has achieved as site manager at our Peacock Place development.” said Jelson Homes’ sales manager Jackie Woodward. “We aim to achieve the very highest standards of construction across all of our developments and this is certainly reflected in Sam’s approach to the job.”
Sam comments: “It’s been great to have been recognised by the NHBC and I couldn’t have done it without my team behind me every step of the way. Winning this latest award means the absolute world to me, especially as I’ve been with Jelson for 15 years this year!”
Over 13,000 candidates from across the UK entered the competition for one of the sought-after NHBC quality awards. Sam completed Peacock Place in the summer and is now site manager one of the latest Jelson developments, Fieldfare at Mountsorrel.
