Mountsorrel is a village on the banks of the River Soar in central Leicestershire that has a truly unique geology. Home to the largest granite quarry in Europe, it is also known for its Butter Cross market dome, marking the town’s 13th Century heritage.
For the sporty, there is Mountsorrel Castle Cricket Club, founded in 1880, or for walkers there is the scenic Watermead Country Park as well as National Trust properties close by.
The Swan Inn offers some fine food and drink choices and it is even believed locally that Dick Turpin used the mounting point opposite.
The village has a full range of amenities, including a great local primary school – you can also treat the kids to a day out at Stonehurst Family Farm and museum!
With the A6 being the nearest main road, Mountsorrel is within a stone’s throw of Loughborough and Leicester, while commuters can catch an hourly train from Sileby railway station to both Nottingham and Lincoln.
Our stunning Fieldfare development in Mountsorrel offers home purchasers the chance to live in a beautiful village with an abundance of outdoor space on the doorstep. Here, purchasers have the chance to secure themselves a two, three, four or even five-bedroom property in a highly-desirable location, and with some great sales success already, demand shows no sign of slowing down.
