Living in Warwickshire FAQs

Warwickshire is a truly beautiful county and has provided inspiration for many, including for Lord of The Rings author J.R.R Tolkien. Home to a plethora of parks, such as Caldecott, Coombe Country and St Nicholas park, there’s always a garden to explore, play games in or take a boat ride through. If you enjoy the water, take a walk along the River Avon or the many canals of the county.

As well as beautiful walks, there are a huge amount of popular attractions to visit across Warwickshire, the most notable of these being Warwick Castle which is famous across the world and fun for the whole family. You can also find other castles, halls, houses and abbeys that all make for a fantastic and informative day out. It’s not all historic venues though, with Warwickshire also being home to a number of shopping parks, fine eateries and fun bars.

Warwickshire is very well-connected, with several motorways running through it, including the M40, M42 M6 and M69. Meaning it is easy to travel across the country for work or pleasure. With several bordering counties (Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire), Warwickshire provides a great starting point to explore the Midlands.
