Professional, knowledgeable and friendly are just a few of the words which have been used to describe Suzanne Bates – a sales adviser, from Leicester, who works for Jelson Homes. But in addition to her day-to-day role selling homes at Grange Vale, Loughborough, Suzanne has recently become a TV host for the local housebuilder.

Such is Suzanne’s enthusiasm for her role with Jelson that directors at the Loughborough Road-based company selected her to become the host of the company’s first corporate video.

Commenting, she said: “I was thrilled to be chosen as the TV face of Jelson and never thought that my role would turn into one where I am doing a piece to camera! “I was very nervous on the day but practised my lines and communicated what I believe to be the most important aspect of our properties, that being the ‘Jelson Difference’.

“In short, the Jelson Difference is what makes our homes stand out from other new-build properties. Each home is built to traditional standards, with features such as solid internal walls, fitted kitchens from Jelson’s own workshop and Jelson-made PVCu windows, and it’s these features which have helped to develop and enhance our reputation.”

And it seems that the video and the Jelson Difference are paying off. Suzanne adds: “We’re having a really busy month so far, with a constant stream of visitors and home buyers walking through the door of our show home to see the types of property available.”
