Jelson Homes is pleased to announce that it has recently recruited ten new apprentices. From bricklayers and plasterers to electricians and carpenters, the ten new recruits all underwent rigorous interview and practical-skills tests to become part of the Jelson team.

This year, the leading local developer received in excess of 100 applications, but it was the high levels of enthusiasm and appropriate skill-sets that enabled the fantastic ten to secure their places. Now, they will all be able to go on to achieve greater things, with the backing of Jelson with them every step of the way.

Undertaking both on-the-job training with Jelson’s more experienced construction teams at various developments across the county, as well as continuing their studies at Leicester College they will now enjoy the very best of practical and theoretical learning so that they can continue their progression.

Jackie Woodward, sales manager for Jelson Homes, comments: “Investing in the future of housebuilding via our apprentices is something that Jelson takes very seriously. “Our ten new faces will become an essential ingredient for developing our future homes and with our training, will no doubt go on to become tomorrow’s master tradesmen. We wish all of them much success as they set off on the first chapter in their careers.”
