New season, new start, new home in Hinckley?

The summer is traditionally a time for new starts in everything, and property is among one of those changes that many people put at the top of their wish list for a new season. With a good selection of attractive home choices now available, Jelson’s popular Bramblings development in Hinckley could be the enviable new start that’s needed for all new house hunters. The development offers low maintenance, high specification properties for everyone, from two-bedroom mews and semi-detached choices, to three-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. “One of the most seductive reasons people love to move house in the summer is because it allows for a fresh start,” comments Jackie Woodward from Jelson Homes. “With interest rates still holding at an all-time low and Help to Buy available, the rest of 2016 will no doubt prove to be another great year for those moving further up the property ladder or moving on to it for the first time.” But before moving, Jelson’s top tips in 2016 include: 1. Check whether it’s affordable and don’t forget Stamp Duty – it’s easy to fall in love with a home without doing the homework and affordability test first. Do your sums before looking at any property – that way you will have a realistic view on what is and isn’t appropriate to buy. 2. Where possible, view at different times of the day – we always try to encourage our buyers to view our homes at different times because properties can look so different depending on where the light falls. 3. Choose a good quality solicitor – invariably, solicitors work at their own pace and to move sale through as quickly as possible, choose a reputable firm that specialises in conveyancing. And those choosing to buy with Jelson won’t get anything better than the developer’s very own unique selling point – the Jelson Difference. “It’s something which is at the very core of our business ethos and is instilled in every aspect of our design and construction process,” adds Jackie. “We use traditional ‘brick and block’ build techniques for solid internal walls and greater roof, wall and floor insulation. We also build bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes and staircases in our own joinery workshops and manufacture our own energy-efficient PVCu double-glazed windows. “Finally, as part of the Jelson Difference, we guarantee that all of our homes have carpets and floor coverings fitted as standard to ensure that our customers feel at home from the moment they move in.” To find out more about the homes available at Bramblings, Hinckley, please visit the show home, open Friday-Monday, 11am–5pm.
